Ingrediente:
· Pentru pui:
o 500 g piept de pui (taiat in fasii);
o 2 oua;
o 100 g amidon de porumb;
o 100 g faina;
o Sare si piper (dupa gust);
o Susan;
o Ulei vegetal (pentru prajit).
· Pentru sos:
o 4 linguri ketchup;
o 3 linguri otet de mere;
o 2 linguri sos de soia;
o 3 linguri zahar brun;
o 1 lingura amidon de porumb dizolvata in 2 linguri de apa;
o 200 ml apa;
o 1 lingurita ulei de susan (optional).
· Pentru garnitura:
o 200 g orez basmati sau jasmine

Mod de preparare:
1. Pregatirea puiului:
o Taie pieptul de pui in fasii egale.
o Intr-un bol, bate ouale si condimenteaza-le cu sare si piper.
o Intr-un alt bol, combina faina si amidonul de porumb.
o Pune fasiile de pui mai intai prin oua, apoi prin amestecul de faina si amidon.
o Prajeste puiul in ulei incins pana devine auriu si crocant. Scoate-l pe un servetel pentru a absorbi excesul de ulei.
2. Prepararea sosului:
o Intr-o tigaie mare, amesteca ketchup-ul, otetul de mere, sosul de soia, zaharul brun si apa. Lasa sa fiarba la foc mic 3-5 minute.
o Adauga amidonul dizolvat in apa si amesteca constant pana cand sosul se ingroasa.
o Daca doresti, adauga ulei de susan pentru aroma.
3. Asamblarea:
o Pune fasiile de pui prajite in tigaie si amesteca-le cu sosul pana cand sunt bine acoperite. Adauga seminte de susan peste fasiile de pui prajite.
4. Prepararea garniturii:
o Fierbe orezul conform instructiunilor de pe ambalaj. Scurge-l bine si pastreaza-l cald.

Method of preparation:
1. Preparing the chicken:

o In a bowl, beat the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
o In another bowl, mix the flour and cornstarch.
o Dip the chicken strips first into the eggs, then coat them in the flour and cornstarch mixture.
o Fry the chicken in hot oil until golden and crispy. Place on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
2. Preparing the sauce:
o In a large pan, mix ketchup, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, and water. Let it simmer on low heat for 3-5 minutes.
o Add the dissolved cornstarch and stir constantly until the sauce thickens.
o If desired, add sesame oil for extra flavor.
3. Assembling the dish:
o Add the fried chicken strips to the pan and toss them in the sauce until fully coated. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the chicken strips.
4. Preparing the garnish:
o Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package. Drain well and keep warm.
