- susan sau mac (dupa preferinta);
- 200 grame telemea (vaca sau oaie).

Mod de preparare:
Cascavalul si telemeaua se dau prin razatoarea mica. Intr-un bol se amesteca: faina, 1 ou, untul, cascavalul si telemeaua. Aluatul se framanta manual pana nu mai devine lipicios. Se pune putina faina pe aluat si pe blatul de lucru. Bila de aluat se imparte in 2 bucati iar fiecare bucata se intinde. Se foloseste o rola zimtata pentru a taia aluatul si pentru a indrepta marginile. Saratelele se pun intr-o tava tapetata cu hartie de copt. Se ung cu un galbenus de ou si deasupra se pune mac sau susan. Tava se da la cuptor (preincalzit la 200 °C) timp de 30 de minute.

sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional, to taste);
200 grams of feta cheese (cow or sheep).

Method of preparation:
Grate the cheese and feta using a fine grater. In a bowl, mix the flour, 1 egg, butter, grated cheese, and feta. Knead the dough by hand until it is no longer sticky. Sprinkle some flour on the dough and the working surface. Divide the dough into 2 portions and roll out each piece.
Use a crinkle cutter or knife to shape the dough into strips and trim the edges. Place the cheese sticks on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush them with an egg yolk and sprinkle sesame seeds or poppy seeds on top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for 30 minutes, or until golden.
