Ingrediente:

- 100 grame pastrama de porc afumata;
- 100 grame unt topit;
- 4 catei de usturoi;

Mod de preparare:
Cartofii se curata si se spala. Feliati cartofii astfel incat lama cutitului sa nu patrunda pana jos si sa nu taiati cartofii complet. Feliile trebuie sa fie foarte subtiri. Intr-un bol puneti untul topit, usturoiul presat, sare, piper, boia dulce si amestecul de ierburi italiene. Amestecati foarte bine. Cartofii se pun intr-o tava tapetata cu hartie de copt. Peste fiecare cartof se toarna din compozitia de unt topit cu condimente. Untul trebuie sa patrunda si printre feliile de cartofi. Acoperiti tava cu folie de aluminiu. Tava se da la cuptor (preincalzit la 200° C) timp de o ora la foc mediu. Dupa ce cartofii s-au copt, scoateti folia de aluminiu si printre feliile de cartofi puneti felii subtiri de cascaval si de pastrama. Presarati susan si chimen peste fiecare cartof. Mai lasati cartofii la cuptor timp de 15-20 minute pana cand cascavalul este complet topit. Cartofii se pot servi cu salata.

100 grams of smoked pork pastrami;
100 grams of melted butter;
4 garlic cloves;
Salt;
Pepper;
Sesame seeds;
Sweet paprika;
Caraway seeds;
Italian herb mix.
Preparation time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Method of preparation:
Peel and wash the potatoes. Slice them thinly without cutting all the way through, so the potato stays intact. The slices should be very thin.
In a bowl, combine the melted butter, pressed garlic, salt, pepper, sweet paprika, and Italian herb mix. Mix well.
Place the potatoes in a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Pour the butter mixture over each potato, ensuring the butter seeps between the slices.
Cover the tray with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 1 hour on medium heat.
Once the potatoes are cooked, remove the aluminum foil and insert thin slices of cheese and pastrami between the potato slices.
Sprinkle sesame seeds and caraway seeds over each potato.
Return the tray to the oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is completely melted.
Serve the potatoes with a side salad if desired.
